MWALONI FISH MARKET AT KIRUMBA

A 2km drive and 3 hours stay to experience fish marketing activities from different sources in the lake. Also it displays a number of fish species found in the lake Victoria ie. Nile perch, Tilapia, Dagaa and Others.

BISMARK ROCK

 A 0.5km drive and 1 hour to drive view the famous Bismark rock standing in lake Victoria near the shore of Mwanza. A granite edifice that rears from the lake close to Mwanza, this is some 2.2. million years old.It displays long nails inserted by chief Mwanamarunde to prove his supernatural power

A 15 km drive and 2 hours stay to enjoy and see the farmers bridge and a place endowed with Sukuma Traditional things (mambo ya kale) 

 

· Nyakuberege

A place in Ukerewe District-Ukara Island (Mwanza) and 4 - 6 hours stay to witness and enjoy a dancing stone or rock which if instructed  to dance for dances for visitors, it dances  so well but only if instructed by the local  traditional leaders.

 

· Kayage Bands

A single kilometer walk 1 hour stay to observe the rocks or stones near the lake where there are foot prints of chief Kayage. 

 

· Masuwa Traditional Village

50 km from Mwanza on the Shinyanga Road  to witness a traditional village where 100 traditional medicine people live together. Their ceremonies, drums and dances tell of the  uniqueness  of the  Sukuma tribe (Ethnic group).

 

 

· Kageye Village

Only 24 km from Mwanza city where slavery by Arabs did occur. Its  a reminder of this brutal trade.
